Studio 5

The photographs above were taken in my studio & the woods behind. The open book in the second photo is Rabbits Everywhere by Alicia Ezpeleta (Abrams, New York, 1996). The open book in the eighth photo is  Le livre des bêtes enchantées, illustrated by Adrienne Ségur (Flammarion, Paris, 1956). This illustration - for "The Wild Swans" by Hans Christian Andersen - also appeared in an American edition: "The Golden Book of Fairy Tales" (Golden Books, New York, 1958).

The drawings on the right are "Little Wildrose" by H.J. Ford (1860-1941) and "Bearskin" by Otto Ubbelohde (1867-1922).
